Surge, not telling the right distance

Yesterday I was at 50,something and today it says 31,455🙈 I took a picture of it a couple days back. So I know it's wrong. What would cause this? HELP PLEASE

Hi, @Vattaway80, I may not quite understand your questions.  Your post title mentions distance, but it sound like you are talking about steps.

 

If you are talking about the number of steps on your 7 day leaderboard, then the reason yu are seeing your steps going down in the morning is because that board gives you are running total of the last 7 days.  Each night at midnight the day seven days ago drops off, ready for the new day.

 

So you will always see the highest number at the end of each day, when you have the full seven days, and the lowest number at the start of each new day, when you only have six days plus the day you are on.

 

If that doesn't address your question, please could you post again with a little more detail of your issue?

Have you setup your step length. As was stated, always check at the same time each day.

I pretty sure I have but I'll double check TY. I just don't under stand why it said that one day and next something different. I work hard on my steps.

Hi, @Vattaway80, if you are talking about step numbers and not distance, please see my post above which I think will answer your question of why one day you have a certain number of steps and then the next day fewer!
