Thought a week ago that my steps were wrong, today had proof.
Wore Surge to gym ad swapped to Flex to do gardening as less likely to get damaged.
Flex vibrated and showed all lights to indicate I'd gone over 10,000 steps.
Synced this evening and my net total is 2,327 looks like the Surge sync is overriding the Flex as, get this, the Flex is now only lighting up one plus a flashing second light.
Anyone got any good ideas what's happening?

@Podster42 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! This usually happens when you are using a tracker that is not the Surge (Flex), but you have your Surge close (in your gym bag for example, close to the device you use for syncing). What will happen is that the dashboard will grab the data from the Surge and not from the tracker you are wearing on your wrist. To prevent this from happening you need to turn off the Surge. That way, the data from the tracker you are wearing will be synced. Also, feel free to check this article about wearing multiple trackers.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes!

@Podster42 Though Surge is designed to detect when it is no longer on your wrist, this functionality does not always work perfectly. Your Surge might keep recording data if:
-It is moving around, such as in a backpack
-It is placed beside another tracker with an HR sensor
-It is folded or arranged in such a way that the straps cover the back of the display.
To shut down the Surge:
1. Scroll to the Settings screen and select "Shutdown."
2. Answer the "Are You Sure? confirmation message.
To turn your Surge back on, simply hold down any button and Surge will power up and resume tracking.
See you around!
