Surge registers only 8500 steps no more!

Surge registers 8500 steps then goes back to7900 over and over doesn't go past the 8500 mark any idea why

This is the first time that I hear this type of issue! I'd suggest restarting your tracker a couple of times in case you haven't done so! When this happens you can see on the Surge or on the Fitbit App? Have you receive a message or error while syncing? I think that you can reconnect your tracker with your Fitbit Account to see if this helps!
