Surge replacement won't turn on with charger in

I got my surge replacement today and followed all the instructions. As soon as I disconnected the charging cable it turned off and wouldn't turn back on. It only turns on when connected and vibrates the entire time but off again when disconnected. Help

Hey there @SunsetRunner! I hope you're doing great! 

Let me help you with this, first I recommend you doing the restart (2 or 3 times in a row) this will refresh the internal logs of your tracker, your Surge should work properly after doing it.

Hi, there are no internal logs it's never been used its new out the box and when I try to restart it goes dark then instantly lights up again as it is connected to the charger. If I unplug the charger it automatically turns off

Hi, I've tried resetting and won't work. Now the surge is flat and although shows the charging icon it's not actually charging very disappointing since this was delivered to me brand new yesterday. What's the next step?
