Display going away or washing out on replacement fitbit surge? The watch portion disappears with a blank screen or white screen similar to the screen you get when you press the exercise button on the left side of the device. Sometimes portions of the screen are covered, top and bottom, etc. I charged my first fitbit surge which has a split band. The screen on that one is completely washed out and nothing will display on it.

@smithgh3 If you are still within the warranty period contact Customer Support. Also be aware that the Surge has been discontinued and replaced by the Ionic.

Some problem here, the replace Surge have screen problem and the support proposal is to buy a new inferior model with 50% discount or replace the Surge. After some time trying to explain that I will not pay to make a downgrade but that I can pay to upgrade to Ionic since Surge has been discontinued for what seems to be due to several problems, I already have two faults Surge inside the warranty, they do not accept, say that Ionic can not be bought at a discount. The solution was to ask for a third replacement surge, the problem now is, they do not have the requested color and size, the color i accepted other, the size is not acceptable ...
