My surge is charged but when I unplug the charger the screen goes blank.  What do I do please?

How old is it? Could be that its past its time.

 

Try a restart and see if it helps

@KBuk you can replace the battery or you can buy a new tracker. These are your only 2 options. I've got over 123 Fitbit Surges in a UTZ pork rinds container that does the exact same thing, all are perfect but go blank (die) when removed from the charger. There are several battery manufacturers for the Surge, most around 100mAh, though have found some claiming 160mAh (like the original) and even 250mAh, which I'm skeptical about but eager enough to try one out soon to see how it works 🙂 

 

Presently, I'm using 120mAh batteries that I'm very pleased with, they're about 75% life from the original as I recall when originally purchasing in 2015 and I'm super happy with the results. Easy to install too!
