Surge strap has split

My Surge strap has all of a sudden split on the top by the watch face. I have only had the watch 3 months! Can you please tell me what I need to do

My surge is the same the strap has split. My first surge which was a gift christmas 2016 went faulty it would not connect with my mobile and the strap split. The replacement has been working fine but the strap on that has split now andd its worse than the first one. Can you glue the strap or something. No wonder they have stopped making  the surge, it seems a common problem.

Ebay has plenty of "aftermarket" straps. It is easy to replace. Purchase with the screw driver, the screws are small. The last time I checked FitBit only offers entire units, not the strap.
