Surge thinks I'm on elliptical while sleeping

I've noticed the last month or so that when my surge syncs with the Fitbit app on my apple 6s, it is adding that I've been on an elliptical. This is almost every night when I go to bed. Anyone know why it would think this and what I could do to stop it?

@leslieanne Welcome to the Fitbit Community! That is happening because of the SmartTrack feature that recognized exercises automatically. Try restarting your Surge to fix. It is strange that for some reason it is recording elliptical exercise when you are not doing that. If that is still happening, go to your dashboard settings > devices > scroll down and ignore "elliptical".

Try that out and let me know how it goes!
