Surge will not power on without being plugged in

I've had a lot of issues with the surge to say the least. My latest issue is that I charged it on Monday, by 5pm yesterday (tuesday) I realized it was off (could not turn it on). Plugged it in this morning only to have the reset screen flash every 2 seconds. When you unplug it its completed dead again. I clean it often and have never got it wet. I'm at a loss right now.

 

I've tried holding down the off button or even the reset buttons thinking that i was froze on that. Anyone have any ideas?

So you cant restart  it at all?

No when I plugged it's won't power on and when plugged in it flashes the reset/power on screen with the dots that form an arrow.
