Surge will not sync again

Yet again my Fitbit surge will not sync. It is so annoying does anyone have a permanent solution or a recommended replacement brand?

Hi, thanks for your reply. It has synced this morning at last!

hope you can understand how frustrating this is but okay for now. 

Should I sync every day or every few days and does this make a difference to probability of a successful sync?
