Surge with serious water damage due to swimming

Hi. This is Ken from Hong Kong. I forgot to take my surge off before swimming. Water is existing over half of the Surge screen.

When I had realized that I was wearing my Surge during swimming, it shows a Fitbit logo with red light. Some minutes later when I check it again, the screen shows nothing with a red light only. The Surge gets hot after having the water damage. Now it's moist and cool without any responses

What should I do? Can it be repaired? I bought it last week.
How much is the repairing fee?

Thanks.

As far am aware Fitbit doesn't do repairs but send replacements when under warranty. Possible swimming with the tracker voided the warranty.

Though feel free to contact the Fitbit Support Team: India | United Kingdom | United States

Optionally check out Returns & Warranty before contacting support.

I would put it in a bowl of rice for a few days so the moisture can be drawn out of it. Many people have had success with this. Its worth a try.
