Why there is no Surge wristband replacement? There are a lot of people asking about the same thing. After a year or so, some cracks start to appear around the wristband's screws. I kindly ask moderators not to give a copy paste PR brain wash answer asking me to open a ticket with Fitbit support, since I've got mine as a gift brought by a relative from abroad and I have no proof of purchase.
I hope you realized that an unhappy and frustrated customer only leaves everywhere negative reviews and he will never buy another Fitbit product. If you are not providing a wristband replacement thinking that he will buy a new product, you are wrong. I will personally never buy another Fitbit product (and since I've got mine I also bought another two for my wife and sister).
I understand that Surge is a one piece hardware, but how difficult is to offer a wristband replacement kit together with some screw and some glue for 30$?

@bufny I had the same interaction with Customer Service and the Fitbit moderators of this site. My negative reviews and questions were deleted.
I wish Fitbit would make a repair kit as well. The watch is so expensive and it is such a waste to have to get rid of it because of a broken wristband.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @ajakubisin @bufny, it's nice to see you both around! I'm very sorry to hear about the inconveniences you've been having with your trackers.
Thanks so much for your feedback in regards to the quality of them, I'll pass this along to our team to take this into consideration.
I totally understand where your frustration is coming from, however, my best suggestion in these cases is to contact Fitbit Support directly. They will review this with you and base on the warranty policy they will give you the options for you, keep in mind that even if your buddy was a gift it also has a warranty.
Hope you have a great day!
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Near the face of my Fitbit Surge, where the plastic band meets the surface face, the lastic wristband is coming away causing water to get into wristband and unit it self. Can we purvhase a new wristband that is either leather or something that can fix thi. I wear mine religiously this is my second replacement, I don't want to change brands because of faulty design. I don't think my warranty is still valid. $250.00 for something that lasts only a year id not good business sense. Feel free to contact me with a solution.

I can feel your pain! All I need is the small part that goes on the portion of the wristband where the metal clasp is on the end of the band. You don't even need to remove the wristband. All you need to do is to remove the metal clasp, slide the piece on the band and reinstall the clasp. It took me less than 3 minutes to remove the metal clasp from the wristband and put it back on. They refuse to sell me that one little piece that probably costs less than $2 to make telling me that I have to buy a whole new watch (less a 25% discount). Very poor support. If I have to buy another watch I won't buy a Fitbit.
