I got a new phone yesterday, and my Surge won't sync with the Fitbit app now. Any suggestions?

Hello @Jmking4314,

Welcome to the community!

Some Fitbit models (Surge included) form a special pairing with the smartphone (Fitbit calls it bonding).  If this is the case there's a way to test it:

  1. Turn off your old phone entirely.
  2. Now run the Fitbit App on your new phone and see if it syncs.

If it does sync then your old phone is interfering with the syncing on your new phone.  Do fix this:

  1. Turn on your old phone.
  2. Uninstall the Fitbit App.
  3. Go to your (phone) settings and delete the bluetooth pairing.

I hope this helps.
