Always loved my surge, but for the first time last night it did something really odd. I received a text notifcation on the watch from a text I had received and read 30 minutes earlier. I did in fact have a text when I received the wrong alert, but it was from a completely different person.

I'm glad you posted this. I had the same issue 3-4 days ago. It only happened once and I had pretty much convincened myself I just saw it wrong.

My surge buzzed and showed a telephone number - but the call was going to my wifes iphone. That has never happened before.
Has an update screwed something up with security?

As dumb as this sounds I'm guessing your the chronic never delete iMessage threads kinda person? It doesn't make sense but try deleting some of your large iMessage threads; significant other, drinking buddies, whatever. Take the latest FitBit app update, reboot the watch and the phone. This made it go away for me. I'll go months without rebooting either because I never have an issue. When this happens I know it's time.

No, not me, who uses text these days? I have about 6 messages on my S6, and only a few people have my phone number as I'm sick of spam phone calls, but not sure why the watch would buzz showing an incoming call to a random phone...

@DLingerfelt @TommyJ @SusanBee Welcome to the Fitbit Community! @Chris1963 That issue is very strange! I recommend setting the call notifications once again (click the link on @SteveH's post). You can "forget" the device on the Bluetooth settings and then do the set up process for the notifications. You can also try to turn Bluetooth off, wait ten seconds, and then turn it back on. That should fix this problem.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes!
