Hey, thanks for your reply and help! Makes sense - will use the run function when I'm next playing football to see what kind of stats I'm getting.

Thanks ahain! 🙂

Nice to see you around @Zahlander! Yes, of course, give it a try and if you have doubts on how to track or what is the correct feature you can check out the manual of your Charge 2 on page 16, to get more information.

Can you introduce the soccer category to the charge 2 in a firmware/software  upgrade?

A warm welcome to our Fitbit Community family @Briski007!  Thanks for stopping by guys! Actually, you can add that request in our Feature Suggestions board, I found that petition already as: Soccer charge 2. Take a moment to vote and comment on it, to increase the change to see it implemented in future updates. I already voted for it! Woman Wink

In the mean time, remember that you can track your soccer games, using SmartTrack, it will do it automatically for you!

Have an awesome day! Woman Very Happy

I don't find the option to edit workouts in my fitbit app. I have a fitbit blaze. The only option I see is to delete the workout. Same thing when I log into fitbit on my desktop

@tayow: if you open the list of activities in your Dashboard, you should see a small pen next to the Workout:

You can use it to rename the activity. You can do the same in the mobile app too.

@Dominique @SolangeE

Ok, I found the problem. It seems you can only edit "Workouts". I used the "treadmill" and "run" options for soccer and apparently, you can't edit those. Thanks for the replies though

Thanks for taking a break from stepping @tayowWoman Wink

Oh! That explains everything. Indeed, you have only the option to edit those types of exercises since they are tracked are generic workouts, that why can name them. When is an specific workout the Account assumes you won't change it.

Why can't we start a workout in "sport" tracking mode?  I play soccer and would like to record distance.  "Workout" doesn't track distance and "Run" can't be renamed to the actual activity.  "Sport" is only started using the SmartTrack feature.  This is a major annoyance.  Thanks.

A warm welcome to the Fitbit family! It's great to see you participating in our Community @Stinky-Pete.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts about the options you'd like to have on your Surge workouts. In this case I think that it's a good idea to try the option "Golf" on your Surge, since this option tracks what you were asking for. It doesn't have the option to edit the name either but in regards to stats, it might work for you.

About having the suggested options in the Surge, I wouldn't like giving you any false expectations or misleading info about having updates for the Fitbit Surge.  But I think that this could be an excellent suggestion for future products, in the Feature Suggestions board members of the Community can comment and vote for it; so it can be implemented in a future update. This is the best way to make your voice heard.

I'd like to mention that although Fitbit Surge has been a very popular product for us, we're not selling it anymore on Fitbit Store (some retailers might have some units, but you need to check availability and warranty details directly with them.) Please note that we’ll continue to support Surge from a software standpoint, along with any questions you might have during your use of the product. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope we can continue to provide you with Fitbit devices you love and help you reach your goals.

I'll be around in case that you have questions! Woman Very Happy
