Hi,
Every time I get error on phone saying that pairing was unsuccessful, make sure the device is turned on and in range.
I tried many times and I can see the fitbit surge in the blutooth devices and I get the message with the code from fitbit but still cannot connect after I get the message and it tries to connect for a bit.
That started happening since latest ios update.
I'm still able to sync my fit bit and get the information but I cannot connect it to my iphone to see messages and such.
Any help??

Welcome to the Forums @Lomy! I'd verify if the Notifications options is turned on in the Surge. You can do that by pressing the home button and swiping until you find its settings, tap on it, and then search for "Notifications" and make sure its turned on. You can also try turning Bluetooth classic on. After that, please follow these instructions. If the issue persists, check out these articles: For iOS and Android devices.
