Just throwing the question out - is sleeping in the Fitbit causing the damage? Hope now I have my new one that development work has taken place to find out why there is such an issue with the bands breaking/coming apart.

It's great to see you around @Brace. You can sleep with your tracker without an inconvenience, it won't cause any damage on the tracker. I have been using my Charge HR for almost two years and it stills complete, I think that you just need to be careful.

Dear Alejandro - I wear my surge for normal life. Never bathe in it or use it in excessive situations. Once a week we go Nordic walking together. Hopefully my replacement surge will be more resilient than the first one. Fingers crossed this partnership is permanent come :cloud_with_rain: Or :sun_with_face: Or 😴.

Tomorrow is my one-year anniversary with my Surge; and I think I've slept with it on my wrist all but one or two nights.  So far at least, other than wearing at the upper corners (which appears to be cosmetic only), I haven't noticed any band degredation issues.

Speaking of my anniversary, looks like I'm going to hit just shy of 6.5 million steps, 24.4 thousand floors of stairs, and about 3,340 miles; been a busy year.  🙂

He-he; yup, I've worn out four sets of running shoes in the last year.  🙂
