Recently I started having issues with my Surge connection. It will connect and sync via phone only when my mobile network is on.
It won't sync via PC cable or the dongle (im guessing its the internet) but why? it used to work. Just to mention i reinstaled the windows 10 app and the fitbit connect app more than plenty cause the problem is frustrating. Same thing when my phone is connected on WIFI it wont connect. App displays a message wont connect to fitbit.com. Fitbit connect tells me to check my internet connection, Windows 10 app tells me it cant connect to fibit.com.

Thanks for the information @Rich_Laue! You're right and when it is the Fitbit server, we just need to wait for a couple of minutes and then try again.

Nice to see that you're digging into the Forums @nikolaruns, let me give you a warm welcome to our Community.
Thanks for the steps that you've tried to solve this issues. That's not a common issue since you mentioned that it is working with the mobile network. What model of phone are you using? Are you having same connectivity issues with other apps? We can try to troubleshoot it on your phone first since you noticed that it is working okay with your mobile network.
Please try to reset network settings on your phone settings to see if this helps but if this doesn't; it's best to contact your internet provider to have more details on how to fix this.
Let me know if you have more questions.

Can fitbit.com block certain IP adresses that visit or use the site and apps? I live in Montenegro, Europe. If so can the IT team contact me to solve this. I restarted my router many times. No result still. Maybe blocked for some reason? The phone is not the issue. But when i switch from mobile data to land internet via wifi in my house it work as mentioned above. I have a xiaomi phone running android. Apps on the pc maybe wont wont cause the pc is connected to land internet.

Thanks for getting back @nikolaruns and for confirming this information.
We're taking the feedback of your case since the Fitbit app should be working fine, there are just a few people that reported this issue some time ago. But it should be working now. Did you check with your internet provider? Please let me know if you were able to connect via WiFi.
I'll be around.

If your phone or PC can not connect to the Fitbit server, you should be getting an error popup saying so.

Thats whay Im getting on my app on my PC on the right corner where the sync button is. Cant connect to fitbit.com
I had it working for 10 days now again a total blackout... even reports that my BT dongle sometimes is not working properly.
My phone has its own internet and can do so. But somehow fitbit.com is blocked on my Home internet sometimes for no reason. I can't acces my fitbit account via any browser I run fitbit.com... any ideas? Can't be that my internet provider is bad. I have 100/100 internet connection.

Currently you are posting on Fitbit.com which make me think that Fitbit.com has not been blocked.
If you sync through your phone, then open the Fitbit app on the PC do you see the Data that just synced through the phone?
I assume your using the Win 10 app and not forgot connect with the PC .

Its community.fitbit.com so not fitbit.com but linked sites.
Anyways my last sync on pc shows 17th of January. Yes, I'm on Windows 10, therefore I'm using Windows 10 app. I connect it via cable, shows the tracker is connected but when it does try to sync won't connect to fitbit.com
I just checked my firewall if it accidentally blocked fitbit.com but it didn't.

The app during a sync does not communicate with www.fitbit.com but with something like server.fitbit.com. Their also is beta.fitbit.com and help.fitbit.com that in aware of.
Usually what your experiencing is a temporary problem are a phone issue and restarting the phone will then allow a sync.

It's nice to see you back here @nikolaruns. Let me help you with your Fitbit Connect sync inquiry.
Since you have checked Internet connection is strong and that Firewall settings are off on your computer I would recommend uninstalling and re installing the Fitbit App. Are you using Fitbit Connect or the Windows 10 app to sync?
Thank you for your help @Rich_Laue.
Please let me know how it goes.
