I use a SURGE, my husband uses the HR and I also use Walktracker on my phone when we go out for a walk each day. SURGE always counts my calories used for my 3.5 mile walk at about 400, the HR counts lower (even through he is heavier than I am), and my walking tracker even lower. How do I know if my SURGE is correct? or the HR? Thanks!

I've noticed you are new around @ldkfj, so let me give you a warm welcome to our Community. ![]()
That's a really good question @ldkfj! I'd suggest to take 2 screenshots of both activities so you can attach them, since we should check that information before to give a conclusion. When talking about calories burned you might have to take in count that heart rate may be affected by any a number of factors at any given moment, such as temperature, humidity, stress level, physical body position and caffeine intake are just a few things that can affect your heart rate.
And if you have specific medical conditions and take medications it can impact your heart rate and the amount of calories burned. ![]()
I'll be waiting that information!
