Won't stay paired - help!

My dad has had this problem for ages but thought it was his phone but now it's happening to me too - the fitbit won't stay paired. I have to repair it completely (unpair then repair) but then it doesn't pick it up again, or I can repair it on the bluetooth on my phone and it pairs but on the app it just shows as 'searching' and won't sync. Can anyone advise? thank you so much!

Thanks for the steps you already tried. I'd like to confirm what model of phone you're using since apparently you've done all the steps we usually suggest. I'm very interested in helping you out with this.

Hi @LogicalHarm, thanks for confirming the model of your phone. 

Did you tried the recommended steps above? Are you getting another message rather than "Searching"? Please check if your phone and Fitbit App are up to date too. If that doesn't help and you have the option to use a computer please add back your tracker to your Fitbit Account using the Fitbit Connect program on your computer via Wireless Dongle.
