I tried the chat on FITBIT>COm and the rep says they have no repair facility nor do they refer to anyone who can put a new wristnand on it. The rep suggested that I buy a new one. This cost $250.00 and still owrks.. Why would I need a new one because the wrist band broke?
Any ideas on how to get a new wristband?

don't expect much help. i got mine last march, so 15 months and they told me they couldn't help.
they did offer me 25% off a new one... which is the same as the father's day sale. aha. lame.

Too bad ... I spent 45 minutes on chat with customer service and now I will receive a new one ... no charge. Lucky me, I guess.

I was a HUGE fan of Fitbit until my band broke. It's really hard to grasp that their top model is not repairable when the band breaks. More importantly, that Fitbit will not take any responsibility of their lack of planning regarding the life span of the band. So long Fitbit. When this band completely breaks, I will be purchasing an Apple Watch.

Is there a warranty for replacement that you have? Try contacting support again with warranty information if you have any. Otherwise, you can try to see if someone is selling the wristbands somewhere, assuming the wristband is changeable.
