bluetooth phone and surge

Hi do i need to have my bluetooth on at all times to get my results or is it stored on my phone? I dont need to see my results all the time I just want to make sure my information is constantly connected. I dont want to turn of the bluetooth on my phone if it the info wont be stored but it is killing my battery life on my phone.

You need bluetooth on to sync. Between syncing, your tracker will store 7 days of minute by minute detail and another 23 days of summary data.

Nothing is everstor d on your phone. Your Surge stores all the data internally until it's synchronis d. At that point, the data is shunted to the Fitbit server and stored there. The phone is only a conduit between the two.

 

As long as you sync at least once every 7 days, your data should be fine.
