Today my Surge stopped tracking mid-run. It was a replacement but had only been out of its package for 1 week. About 6 miles in I noticed the screen was completely blank. I assumed it wasn't connected properly to the charger when I charged it, but was doubtful, since that has never happened. When I got home and plugged it in, it turned back on and had full battery. Last 3 miles lost, no steps counted. Anyone else ever have this happen? My iphone 10 is updating as I type this, but I don't think this is related.

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.
