Yesterday I bought myself a surge for training. Prior to the purchase, I checked the website for compatibilty etc. (I was going back and forth between a blaze and surge). Finally, I chose the surge for the integrated GPS. I have a Nokia Lumia 620 and when checking the compatible features, the first one that pops up is the mobile run... It says you can control the music. After reading the troubleshoot (cause I didn't know how) it appears you CANT control the music on a windows device with the surge.... Se the info you get from the website isn't true. Sine I already used my Surge, I can't return it to the store anymore.
Any solution for me that doesn't include buying a new mobile?
Now, my girlfriend has a blaze and an android mobile phone. Since my Windows phone will work with the blaze, we could change phones during exercise...but the samsung can't find the Surge (Blaze can be connected and yes, we removed all prior connections so there was no fitbit device linked to any mobile phone).
On top of that she can't control the music on her blaze while running...buttons won't work...
Both of us are highly dissapointed about our purchases.

Hi, @JohanVB18 , music control does work on Windows phones. You just need to pair with bluetooth classic. More information here .
I hope this cheers you up!
