My Surge screen has horizontal lines across the screen and is becoming increasing difficult to read especially on the miles screen.  I have restarted it several times, cleaned it, charged it but no change.  It is 20 months old.  Surely it should have a longer life than this?  How can I sort out the problem? Thanks

Thanks for your reply Wendy. I will be very disappointed if it is dead already surely should last longer than 20 months.  It's such a wasteful throw away society we live in, I won't be buying another one if it is dead.

Still no joy with fixing my surge.  I can't read the face at all now just horizontal lines but the dashboard still works so I wear it.  I bought it in argos 18 months ago, I cant find the receipt.  Will  be able to take it back? or where can I get it fixed?

@hutchliz If you bought it in Europe, the warranty is for 2 years. If it's only been 20 months then it should be covered. Try Customer Support again (if you still haven't heard from them). None of Fitbit's "watches" are repairable. Some have replaceable bands (including the Surge which is Aftermarket from Amazon and E-bay). That's about it.

I am very pleased with the service from Fitbit, they have replaced my Surge with a brand new one as it was still under the 24 month warranty Thank you fitbit for  for sorting this out so quickly and smoothly.
