My 9th fitbit surge (yes 9) has an air bubble and is beginning to fall apart.  Per their policy, I'm offered a 20% discount on a new product.  The surge has never lasted more than 6 months before bubbling and falling apart.  All 9!! I don't shower with it, swim with it, etc.  Here's the kicker and why I am giving up in fitbit.  They stand behind their product so much and reward loyal customers that the 20% discount does not apply to the new Fitbit Ionic.  Can you believe it?  They want to lose loyal customers over a difference of $20 between a discounted blaze and a discounted ionic!!!!  I have the surge, Inhave had 9 of them.  It was supposed to be superior to the blaze.  Why would I want to downgrade?  I talked to customer service and they are standing firm on it.  Garmin Vivoactive seems to be the only alternative.  Thanks Fitbit, you've demonstrated how important your loyal customers are.

wow,  that's just terrible

Honestly,  here is your chance to get away from FitBit and get something better from a company that stands and supports their products.

@rockstar73 Amazon and E-bay sell aftermarket bands for the Surge. YouTube has the "How to" videos. If the bands are the only issue you can make them useable again. The Surge as it has been discontinued and replaced by the Ionic. Good luck.
