go to Parameters, check if Hearbeat is on or auto

It's nice to see you around the Community @dam11, hope you're doing great! Smiley Very Happy Please check what I've suggested here to solve the issues with your Heart Rate. 

 

You can also try restarting your Surge my following the steps that @MeylinP provides here.
