possibly stolen?

I have someone who wants to sell me a Surge.  I love my Charge, so I am sure I would love the Surge... But I am not sure that the Surge is not stolen.  Is there anyway to tell if it is a stolen device before I buy it from him?  I don't want to get in trouble for stolen merchandise....

It's not possible to know if a device has been stolen.

You don't get in trouble when buying stolen things (how could we know that?) as not having stolen ourself..

If not trusting it, report to the police anonymous if expecting someone's selling stolen things, tell the seller not being sure really needing one.. and get from a trusted source (the local store, the fitbit online store)..

Fitbit released new trackers a while ago, the Fitbit Alta & Blaze, the Blaze has a more secure wristband like the Surge, though both those trackers have exchangeable bands.

In case the band breaks on the Surge, when out of warranty, needing to get another tracker.. the Blaze is cheaper than the Surge, has a coloured screen,..

I have to agree. If you dont trust the person you are buying it from then I would not.

It will not have a warranty anyways.
