Hey,
I've been a dedicated Fitbit customer for years and I own a Surge which is in my opinion the best device for me - I bought the most expensive device because I want all the functionality I can get.
I wouldn't downgrade to a Charge 2 - I was considering it but I don't want to lose the device GPS capability and the size of the screen (even though I'd love an interchangable band).
However, I work a 9-5 job and I do meditation and yoga so what I would absolutely LOVE from my Surge would be reminders to move and the breathing guidance. I'm not sure why this current functionality isn't available on the Surge yet because it is meant to be the fitness superwatch of the Fitbit range - more so than the Blaze (for people that like the idea of an Apple watch that isnt Apple) and Charge (has most features but also interchangable band and slim screen which is a trade-off that limits functionality) that I can gather.
As a sidenote I find the timer functonality absolutely useless because I can't use it at the same time as tracking a workout - which is generally when I would use a timer.
Any chance of these software updates making it into the pipeline? If not consider this a vote to get them there. If so, do we have a really rough ETA?

As long as it's in the pipeline as per the following:

Sorry, there's no guarantee of that at all.
As Wendy says, the first we'll hear of anything like this is if/when an update is actually released.
