My surge watch strap cracked and broke. I was given an Apple Watch but much prefer the surge: I looked on the site but you can't buy replacements. Why not??

The all in one design of the Surge is why there is no replacement band. The new Blaze has replaceable bands.

Hi @Reallywhelan!  The reason you can't buy a strap replacement is that it is not a changable part on the Surge, it's built in.  However, I would reccommend contacting customer support and seeing if there is anything they can do to help as the Surge band shouldn't have broken on you.  Hope that helps!

@Irelach1984 Fitbit customer support takes each case on an individual basis. It can't hurt to try, but if it's out of warranty, they might not be able to help you.

My printer was out of warranty by eight days and I had to buy a new one. So I tend to think once it's beyond the 365 day warranty period, most companies won't go against set policy.

Thanks for the post! I agree and understand about warranty but this is clearly a design flaw, judging by all the posts on this. Given fitbit's well-documented issues with wristbands they should be responsive. But thanks for your post: helpful perspective.
