surge not update 'looking for tracker' stuck

Hi,

 

I am trying to setup my device-

 

I have been trying to update my surge; I have synced the device with my account. but when its request an update, following the sets leaves me an error 'sync your fitbit.... with 5 steps'. The device is already synced according to the dashboard.

@tcowan72 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! I hadnt heard this issue before. However, allow me to help here. You can try restarting your tracker so it refreshes itself internally. After this, setup your Surge as a new device and the firmware update one more time.

 

If the workaround does not do the trick, my friend @Anna1118's recommendation is the best tip to follow. Our Support team will investigate further and get you back on track.
