surge not vibrating

I just got my fitbit yesterday and throughout the day to today it vibrated several times when I received a text but wasn't consistently working, and won't vibrate when i receive a call or for a silent alarm. I have notifications for call and text turned on so I'm not sure why its not working. Any suggestions???

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.
