After my brother's 3 year old Surge lost its band, he bought a replacement kit from Amazon.

As another poster indicated, there are many vendors offering inexpensive replacement band kits on Amazon. I prefer KingAcc myself. Another vendor’s I tried was too stiff. Also, there are band covers (they cover the main housing and band interfaces) which significantly improve the band life. If you prefer not to replace the band yourself, there are outfits like JoesGE which will do it. JoesGE can also fix any other issue with your Surge as well (battery, screen, main board).

I have tried 2 different venders from Amazon and cant get the strap band on, is it me? The buckle side goes on easily but not the strap. Does the ones from AC King fit well?
Thanks

@npibrendasmith make sure your installing them on the proper side.
The strap side should be attached to the bottum of the display with the single button to the left.
My brother first tried to do it the other way and had the issue your describing.
