using surge, when doing laps.

On more than one occasssion after having completed a hill session (laps) it has shown a distance last one was 4.7 miles and 6 laps, when this was uploaded to Strava it showed 3.2 and 5 laps. i have emailed Strava about this in the past and they said it is a fitbit issue. I revoked and connected the access a multitude of times, manually uploaded, deleted and tried it all again with success once. Any ideas why?

I've noticed you are new in our community, so welcome aboard @toastie. I would like to ask some screenshots of how it looks your information in comparison between Strava and your Fitbit account? This will help to have a better look of the problem. Note that after linking your accounts you may see some differences in the way data is calculated for your exercises on each site.
