Hi there,
Per this Fitbit post and this Strava article I'm aware that non-GPS activities don't sync from Fitbit to Strava. It appears, however, that many GPS-based activities do not in fact sync to Strava. In the recent past I've recorded alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, and mountain biking activities, none of which automatically synced to Strava. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting my Fitbit and Strava accounts multiple times before recording these activities.
This is especially frustrating considering the new "Your health dashboard is now in the Fitbit app" page that is showing up when trying to access the Fitbit dashboard from the desktop browser. I fear this is an indication of the inevitable deprecation of the desktop dashboard, in which case the only way to download .tcx files would be via the mobile app, which straight up doesn't work on my Pixel 6 unless you use the hacky email-it-to-yourself-as-an-attachment strategy.
I very much prefer the Fitbit activity recording UI on my Pixel Watch 2 over the Strava UI, which is why syncing to Strava is an important concern of mine. If it becomes too difficult to sync activities though, I'll probably have to switch to the Stava recording UI, as well as unsubscribe from Fitbit Premium.
