Activities not syncing to strava

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My runs have stopped syncing to strava. I have followed all the standard advice (disconnect and reconnect the sync, log out, update apps, turn off phone, sync again). The same thing happened a couple of weeks ago and the disconnect and reconnect method seemed to work but not today.

Is anyone else having the same issue? Fitbit is still writing my activities to another app so I think the issue may be more

on strava’s side.

any ideas on how to fix would be much appreciated!

Confirmed - started 2-3 days ago.

Strava API seems to work fine (I used https://www.fittostrava.com/) and normal integration is hosted by Fitbit (http://strava.fitbit.com/) so I think this is purely on Fitbit side.

Do you have Android phone? Did you accept Health Connect integration recently?

No, I am using apple. I didn’t change any settings around the health app integration before the sync issue started

I did....would that cause it to quit updating?

Probably not, I just tried running after disabling Health Connect and it didn't help.

Have run into the same issue and began sometime this month.  I've done all the steps (forget this device, revoke access, updates, etc) as found in older forums and still have to manually upload it via downloading tcx.  I have the versa3 andit syncs via iphone

Just heard from Strava....they say it's fitbit not pushing it to them.  So much finger pointing....so little answers.  Does anyone from fitbit ever read these?

Best Answer

Fitbit support told me they are working on it last week.

did you get a response from the support team on this?

Best Answer

Afraid not. Still not syncing so relying on manual uploads for now

Just got this reply today after debating there is no way my iOS version is the issue (its not).

There is no timeframe but at least they confirmed they know theres some issue.  I have no idea how it can be a problem with their app but hope they get this fixed soon.

At least now I know its not me and I will stop trying to reconnect FitBit and Strava connections every day.

Nothing more than they are looking into it. Instead of waiting I bought Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and I'm mostly happy about it.

No response other than they feel it's Strava's fault.
