Activity logged through Charge 4 syncing to wrong day/time on MyFitnessPal

I have just recently started using a Charge 4. I have been logging my exercise activities (runs/walks) directly through the Charge 4 device (not the Fitbit app). These come across to the Fitbit app correctly however when it syncs to MyFitnessPal the activity has the wrong start and finish time - about 10 hours ahead. This means that if I log an activity in the afternoon it is added to the next day in MyFitnessPal.

I have tried unlinking from both Fitbit and MFP apps, logging out of both, logging back in and relinking and still nothing. I have also confirmed that the time zone is set correctly in both Fitbit and MFP apps and on the Charge 4 itself.

Once the activity is synced to MFP I can then see a double up in the Fitbit app listed activities (the one logged by the Charge 4 with GPS data etc, and the one from MFP) and I have tried to manually edit the start and edit times on the MFP listing however once I close the app and reopen it the times go back to what they were. The only way I've been able to get the activity on the correct day in MFP is to copy it to the correct date and delete it from the wrong date but I shouldn't have to do this.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

As for the double add, did you record the exercise with both MFP and Fitbit?

As for why the time is wrong, I would reach out to MFP
