Am I double-counting exercise if I track Spinning exercise and have a Peloton Sync?

Just got a Peloton and completed my first ride. I wanted to make sure my exercise was tracked, so I did the auto-sync from Peloton to Fitbit (It works!)

But, I wasn't sure if I was double-counting exercise since I also started the "Spinning" exercise on my Fitbit Sense before starting. Looks like it might be, but I can't tell for sure. Should I only do the Peloton auto-sync to Fitbit, and not start a Spinning tracker? Or can/should I do both?

Thanks!

Hi there @psychowizard. Welcome to Community Forums.

Fitbit devices gather information and share it to the third party app, and doesn't receive any information from the third party.

I'd recommend you follow the instructions on How do I connect my Fitbit account with another app?. Some users usually find it useful to unpair and then pair both apps again to refresh the performance, if you already have them paired.

Or if you'd like to contact our Support Team or the third party customer service for more information.

I'll be around.
