Armband (to be put round the arm close to shoulder) heart rate monitor for fitbit

I couldn't find anything solid by googling it. Some websites suggest Polar or Garmin, I installed their apps but they don't sync neither with fitbit nor with healthconnect (some sort of meta app to gather all other health and fitness apps).

Which armband (to be put round the arm close to shoulder) heart rate monitor would you suggest whose data can be shareable with fitbit?

Accepted Solutions

Fitbit has never been known to take input from any other system, unless you want to consider steps from your connected phone.
People have been asking for ability to take chest strap heart rate input to fitbit for many years, and gotten no consideration.
If you want heart rate input from upper arm to fitbit, only option I see is to get some kind of strap extender, preferably elastic, to a fitbit device.

@jfolpf unlike sports watches brand, Fitbit doesn't support HR coming from external sources. What you want to do is impossible with Fitbit devices.

Thanks a lot

Do you recommend me any strap extender for my Inspire 3?

That's said Fitbit not only doesn't sell any armband HR but also doesn't allow input from other sources.

I thought that it would be possible with some sync with Google fit or Health Connect.

@jfolpf I know nothing about armband extenders for the tracker, sorry. As armband HR monitor, I use Polar Verity Sense but it just connects to my other sports watch so there is no issue. Never thought of workaround for Fitbit because never needed it.

I think Amazon had some third-party strap extenders, probably aimed for large wrists.  No guarantee how secure they would be.

I haven't looked into  Google Fit or Health Connect - could be, but can't imagine Fitbit taking in any outside heart rate data.
