Hello all,

I'm wondering if you can advise on a good set-up for syncing Fitbit with MyFitnessPal and another service such as Runkeeper/MapMyRun etc. Ideally I would like it to be a two-way sync between the services which also shares GPS maps.

I'm considering purchasing a Surge but need to know that this sort of set up is possible before I do!

Many thanks!

🙂

I can only speak about MyFitnessPal since I do not use any of the running aps you mention.

I am able to link MyFitnessPal to Fitbit.  I enter all my food / water intake solely with MFP.  MFP then publishes a summary of each meal to Fitbit.  So I use MFP for all the details, and view the results in Fitbit.  Any changes made in MFP will also get updated in Fitbit (adding or removing items from a meal).

Here's a screenshot from the Fitbit dashboard that better explains

Hope this helps !
