Best Way to Sync Third Party Apps

I currently have a fitbit Blaze and I love it. Before I got it I was using Strava and then mapmyride. I love that fitbit syncs my GPS rides to Strava but why won't it sync non-GPS rides (or indoor trainer rides). Now that it is winter I am having to start the exercise and stop it on my blaze, only to log in a second time manually in Strava. I thought to solve this problem I could link fitbit to myfitnesspal (coherently linking to my mapmyride account as well) and maybe this would sync all the information together, but no. Is there a better way to get all my data that I want in one place without having to jump through so many hoops?

Hello @CoolSnoopy, good to see you again. At the moment each third party integration works independently and are different about the information they sync with Fitbit, but this is not from Fitbit's end, since it depends on the developer who is using our API to make compatible their integration.

In the case of Strava, it wont sync Non-GPS activities and there is no option to make this happen, unless you made combination of other third party services, although if you you want to keep your information together in one place. The best is to use your Fitbit account in my opinion, since you can sync your GPS as non-GPS activities, as other information.

For more information about third party services compatible with Fitbit take a look at the following post.

Hope to see you again, let me know if you have more questions.
