Blaze mileage vs MyFitnessPal mileage

I've had my Blaze for a few weeks now and I really love it. My only issue is that the mileage seems very wrong. I've been using MyFitnessPal for almost 2 years to log my walks and the Blaze gives me almost 50% less credit on my miles. I've tried changing stride length over and over and it makes no difference. Is there a reason there could be such a huge discrepancy? They both use GPS and the maps of my walks look identical. I'm at a loss.

Hello @Erinraye517 I have not gotten a straight answer from Fitbit yet.

My tests show that while in walking mode GPS is not used for distance.

Have you tried manually counting steps then compare with the tracker?

Another thing to try might be to do s walk with GPS off.

About correcting the stride here is the formula

NewStride = CurrectDistance/FitbitDistance * FitbitStrideSetting
