Calorie Adjustment for steps vs iphone on MyFitnessPal

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have MyFitnessPal installed and by default it was adding iphone steps and adjusting calories (about 250 extra for 10k steps).

I found the option to instead feed the data from my Fitbit and from similar number of steps it adjusted to allow an extra 800 calories!

Thats a huge discrepancy between the two sources. Does anyone have any ideas which is right and why?

Thanks

Phil.

Hello @PhillyBoy, good to see you again here in the Fitbit Community. Make sure you are not logging activities that could be duplicating your numbers on your Fitbit account. If this is not the case I recommend to re-link both of your accounts, the following instructions shared on this post will be helpful for that purpose.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have additional questions.
