Calories remaining different for myfitnesspal mfp and fitbit

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
I have the same data for myself entered- Age height weight etc, but mfp shows more "calories remaining" than the "calories left" in Fitbit app. The goals in each are exactly same, lose 2lbs a week. Do I need to manually change something else or is this normal? I'm guessing Fitbit estimates the metabolic calories (or whatever it's called) lower than the 2400 that mfp estimates. Thanks for help and advice.

@Airic101 It's nice to have you here! You should be getting the same amount of calories intake in both apps. Fitbit is going to do a calorie adjusment in Fitbit so you can get the same calories burned, please check this article to know What is the Calorie Adjustment in my Exercise Diary?
