Can I link or pair a food logging program that I use to Fitbit? Then I would have calories taken in and calories burned.

Hi, @Jshinden, welcome to the community, there's a very good calorie counting programme already included in the Fitbit app, accessible through the online dashboard as well. You may find this article offers a way forward How do I connect my Fitbit account with another app?
Cheers

Oh yeah, linking Fitbit with an external nutrition tracker is definitely a great idea.
I don't know what you're using but Lose It, MyNetDiary and Lifesum are, per my personal experience, working great with Fitbit.

From My Net Diary linking options, not from Fitbit. You need to have Premium service on MyNetDiary (not on Fitbit) to be able to do it.

Here is a list of apps that have chosen to work with Fitbit. If the app you use is not on the list, check with your apps help, or contact them. Their are more apps that sync with fitbit, tgat fitbit may not even know about. You can also send this link https://staticcs.fitbit.com/partnership/whypartner to your apps contact

The list linked above by @Rich_Laue is way outdated at the point that is practically useless. For example Endomondo has been shutdown more than one year ago, Thermos's link is broken, Everymove changed name.
And anyway, for the purpose of answering to @Jshinden, we already understood he refered to MyNetDiary.
