And if I do will it be confused by what the band picks up verses what I enter Manually.

I have a few years worth of data

There is no way to import data and connecting a 3rd party app will only work on a going forward basis. Also, manually entered activities will wipe out any active minutes the tracker picked up and the steps will not count toward badges.
