I'm new to the Fitbit Flex I got it for my birthday July 2, just wondering can this be linked to S Health on my Galaxy S 6 phone?

Not unless Samsung allows it and uses the open Fitbit API to link the accounts. Since Samsung sells fitness trackers, I doubt they will do this. You might want to look through the list of apps Samsung will sync to and see if there is one that also syncs to Fitbit. You can find a list of apps that sync to Fitbit here.

Samsungs S-Health app allow the usage of many Health Tracker made by other companys; it seems FitBit is missing for that list... So I wouldn't put the blame only on Samsung, FitBit is probably part to blame for this also. Allowing S-Heath to sync or obtain data from fitbit devices would probably cut into the profit margin they make from the "extra" subscription from the FitBit app; after all us consumers spend $150+ on a device and have to spend more to full use it.
