As my Fitbit Charge 5 had reached the end of it's short lifespan last week, I got a Fitbit Charge 6 as a replacement. I was forced to transfer my 7 year old Fitbit account to a Google account.
I have an electronic weight scale that records weight in the FitDays app. It has an integration with the Fitbit app where it will add the weight and fat-level in the Fitbit app once granted access. After switching to a Google account, this no longer worked.
I've revoked the old access to my Fitbit account on the FitDays app, and tried to set it up again using the "Continue with Google" button on the Fitbit login page. When I then add the e-mail address from my Google account, I get a page that reads: Couldn't sign you in. This browser or app may not be secure. Try again using a different browser.
This is so annoying. I hate that I had to switch to a Google account that I don't use. I've ran out of storage on my Google account, so I don't even receive any e-mails on it when my Fitbit battery is running low. Now this no longer works... My love for Fitbit continues to decrease. Anyhow, I hope someone could help me resolve this issue.
