Can't sync third party apps at all

Whenever I try to authorize access for a third-party app, it takes me to the authorization page, but when I hit accept it does nothing.  I am trying to sync the Simple Fasting app but it just sits on accept and never actually syncs it.

I would contact them. They are responsible for their connection.
