Can you add water intake to Fitbit using IFTTT?

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to use the IFTTT integration to add my water intake to the Fitbit app?

Ideally I want to use either Alexa or Google Assistant to update/add water to the Fitbit app using a voice command. Currently the only IFTTT action that is available is Log weight, which doesn't seem to work anyway?

Later on I'd like to take this even further and use an NFC tag to do the same thing, so that I can simply scan the tag each time I have a glass of water.

Thanks in advance.

@runner-reece Hi there.

Thanks for the detailed information shared. Fitbit will sync sleep and activity to IFTTT and IFTTT won't transfer any information to Fitbit, check out this page for additional information.

See you around.

Thanks but that’s not really helpful and I don’t think that is strictly
true?

If IFTTT can’t sync to FitBit, why is there an IFTTT action for FitBit for
logging your weight?
